Event Awareness Leadership
The leadership group, Event Awareness is facilitated by Mr. Williamson. The group consists of seventh and eighth grade students who selected to participate in Event Awareness at the beginning of the 2016-2017 school year. During Event Awareness leadership group we make posters about upcoming events at our school such as upcoming dances, sporting events, Positive Behavior and Support, or PBIS activities, and for “No Name Calling Week” we made the posters that said what to wear on each day. The main goal of the leadership group is to keep the students at Chillicothe Middle School informed. Keeping students involved in activities allows students to feel like they are an important part of the school environment and gives them the feeling of being a Cavalier. Recently, the group distributed posters advertising the Semi Formal Dance. This years Semi Formal Dance is scheduled for May 5, 2017. Tickets are sold at the door for three dollars and will run from 7- 9:30 pm.
