Positive Positivers
On Fridays, at Chillicothe Middle School, students partake in a leadership group to help out the community or the school. One leadership group in particular is the Positive Positivers. This group is lead by 7th grade science teacher Mr. Gilsdorf. The Positive Positivers attempt to encourage others to stay positive. This group gathers every Friday for about 45 minutes in room 132. The end goal is to make someone’s day positive- the group accomplishes this by hanging positive signs, positive quotes, awarding prizes, and holding fun events. Students who are recommend as “Student of the Week” receive a box of candy and have their locker decorated!
