Culinary Leadership Group
One of the leadership groups at Chillicothe Middle School is a Culinary Group. Miss Schroeder is the facilitator of the group. When asked why she wanted to offer culinary as a choice for leadership, she expressed how much she loves to cook and eat. Miss Schroeder just knew that there would be students who loved food as much as she does. She began cooking in high school as a result of being the middle child of seven siblings. Her favorite cuisine is Mexican and also Italian. This year she is trying to use a different recipe each time she cooks and so far hasn’t repeated one yet! There are around twenty-five students who have signed up for the Culinary Group. During the time together the members watch cooking shows and are interested in exploring cooking gadgets. Every other week she brings in a prepared dish for the members to taste.
