Green Thumbs
Every Friday at Chillicothe Middle School we have designated time to participate in a fun activity that can help the school and community. These activities are called Leadership Groups. My Leadership Group is called the Green Thumbs and is led by Mrs. Wike. In this group we water and trim all the plants located in the school building. We also have multiple plants growing in several different classrooms. Some of the plants we tend to are exotic like a pineapple tree and a coconut tree. We also have plants like Aloe and Creeping Charlies. During the spring time we have plans to go into the Courtyard and plant flowers and maybe also a garden which can be viewed by several middle school and also several high school classrooms. Students interested in gardening will learn essential steps in plant care taking.
