Elec Simon helps CMS-1 Leaders Battle Bullying!

Elec Simon spent the afternoon at CMS-1 where he inspired the entire student body to battle bullying.  Elec is a percussionist, who has been invited to sit in at several legendary Harlem jazz clubs, including St. Nick’s Pub, Minton’s Playhouse and Lennox Lounge, where he has jammed alongside jazz artists Patience Higgins, Andy McLeod, and Dave Gibson. Elec has also accompanied funk master Justin Miles and hip hop artist Ace Boogie as the percussionist on recent recordings.

Elec's purpose for being at CMS-1 was far greater than percussion but rather to say to students, "don't let anyone steal your music."  Elec encouraged students to battle bullying head on by standing up to what is right.
