Math Leaders Discover Math CAN be fun!

Mrs. Mickey’s math classes are studying probability. In class on Wednesday, March 27th students ran simulations to compare theoretical and experimental probability. Students tested flipping coins, rolling dice, spinning spinners, shooting basketball, drawing cards, and drawing colored cubes. At the end of the simulations we discussed why our experimental probabilities sometimes did not match our theoretical findings. Who knew math could be this fun, what are the chances of that?!
