Leaders Set Goals and Track Progress

A large part of the Leader in Me initiative is to allow students the opportunity to track their grades in order to set goals (short term and long term).  Students do this by keeping a Leadership Notebook that stores all of their data for each subject area. 

Stephen Covey said, "The key is taking responsibility and initiative, deciding what your life is about and prioritizing your life around the most important things." 

This is one way that the leaders at Chillicothe Middle School are taking responsibility and prioritizing what is most important.  Here are some pictures of students tracking their Language Arts grade.
