Meet the Team...August 12th @ 6pm

Chillicothe High School wants to remind Cavalier players, parents, and coaches about Meet the Team night on Monday, August 12 from 6 to 7:30 P.M. in the Hatton Memorial Gymnasium at CHS

This meeting will also double as our Fall Sports Parents Night, a requirement by the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA). We will cover Chillicothe and OHSAA rules and regulations. We will also show a 22 minute OHSAA video. All fall student-athletes and a parent/guardian must be present for the program and sign in that they were there and attended the entire meeting.

Middle school athletes and coaches will sit as teams in the upper section (balcony), on the right as you enter the gym from the lobby. High School athletes will sit as teams in the lower section of the gym as you enter on the right.  Look for signs that designate you by team per area.

Football parents will sit on the upper left section (balcony) as you enter the gym. All other parents will sit in the lower left bleacher section or on the floor as you enter the gym.

We are separating parents in this way because of the number of football participants and to more easily get parents signed into this mandatory meeting.

When both parents and student athletes enter the gym they should find the area designated by signs for their sport and sign in with the captain of that individual sports team and then be seated in that section.

Also, ALL student athletes should follow this specific dress code:  game jerseys as their tops and jeans or long pants as their bottoms.
